Trading the DAX (DE30) and USDJPY around their opens
How the German index and the dollar yen fit into an automated portfolio: breakouts at the European open, fades around US data, and Asian session moves in the yen.
Gold and bitcoin are the core of the strategy. The German index (DE30, the DAX) and the US dollar against the Japanese yen (USDJPY) add sessions at different times of day, so losing streaks in one market rarely line up with the others.
DE30
- One breakout session around the European open.
- One session that trades against the first move around the US data releases.
- Shown in the backtest only from late August 2025, when the Exness spread on this index fell to about one point.
USDJPY
- One breakout session in the Asian hours.
- One session in the US morning, with a trailing stop once the trade has moved in its favour.
- In our own reports USDJPY is the weakest of the four markets, and we say so.
Why combine markets
Four markets trading at different hours means more opportunities and, historically, a smoother account than any one market alone. The bot sizes all of them together, from one balance and one risk temperature.
Start the bot, watch your free $10,000 demo trade, and connect your Exness account when you are ready.
You can switch any market off in the app. Open trades on that market keep their own stop and exit.
Risk warning. Trading leveraged products such as CFDs carries a high risk of losing money. Backtest figures are simulations, not real results, and past performance does not guarantee future results. Read the risk disclosure before you connect an account. Nothing here is financial advice.
