Automated bitcoin (BTCUSD) trading: one session a day, seven days a week
How Arrissa REX 9 AI trades bitcoin once a day, why it follows the previous US session, and what weekend trading means for your account.
Bitcoin never closes. That makes it attractive to automate and easy to over-trade. Arrissa REX 9 AI takes a different approach: one breakout session a day, in the early hours, and only in the direction suggested by how the previous US session closed.
One direction a day
If the previous US stock market session closed in the upper half of its range, the bot only takes a buy breakout; if it closed in the lower half, only a sell. This simple filter removes many of the trades that would fight the bigger picture.
Weekends
Bitcoin trades at the weekend, and so does the bot, when the news filter allows. The other markets it trades are closed at the weekend.
Sizing
At Exness one lot of BTCUSD is one bitcoin, so 0.01 lot moves about $0.01 for every $1 change in price. On small balances bitcoin is often one of the first markets the bot can size correctly.
Honest numbers
When we added nine months of bitcoin data that had never been used to choose the rules, the strategy stayed profitable in the backtest but was much weaker than in the months used to build it. We would rather tell you that than show only the best period.
Start the bot, watch your free $10,000 demo trade, and connect your Exness account when you are ready.
Risk warning. Trading leveraged products such as CFDs carries a high risk of losing money. Backtest figures are simulations, not real results, and past performance does not guarantee future results. Read the risk disclosure before you connect an account. Nothing here is financial advice.
